Liverpool Fashion Week – Day 6

Fashion Week: universally acknowledged as being a time in which people come together to celebrate the weird and wonderful in fashion. The week used to be strictly the capital cities of the world, as we hear of London fashion week, coupled with Paris and Milan, more recently NYC, however as Liverpool has been growing in status as a city since more and more people are being drawn to the unique culture in which it represents, it seems only fitting that we would be eligible to have our own fashion week.
Hosted in the Royal Liver Building, Saturday’s finale show had the theme of “Scouse pride”, as all local talent had the chance to display their work to the audience alongside the national well established brands.
Some of the fashion shows included walks from, Evans, Liverpool City College, kiss couture, Spoilt Boutique and Taking Shape.
Lambrini was in full flow throughout the night, as the official sponsor of the fashion week, giving all guests a free sample of their own flavour of the tipple.
The guests showed their appreciation for the night with their high praise and reviews. Eileen Norrisey said: “ It was a fantastic night, and truly showed Liverpool in the light it deserves”
